- Photography is built into our Wedding packages, and most couples book it alongside DJ/MC entertainment. If you're only looking for photography without other services, ask your entertainment director directly — availability depends on your date and specific needs.
What's the difference between a first look and a traditional ceremony reveal?
- A first look is a private moment where you and your partner see each other before the ceremony, away from guests — it's popular because it calms nerves and frees up more time for portraits earlier in the day, meaning less time away from your cocktail hour later. A traditional reveal saves that first moment for the aisle. Neither is more "correct" — it comes down to whether you'd rather have a private moment or a public one.
How many photos do we actually get?
- This depends on hours of coverage and how much is happening during your day — a full 8-hour wedding day typically produces several hundred edited images, but exact counts vary. Ask your entertainment director for specifics tied to your chosen package.
Do you provide a second photographer?
- Availability depends on your package. A second shooter is useful for larger weddings or when you want simultaneous coverage of two things happening at once (e.g., groom getting ready in one location while bride gets ready in another).
Does Alive Events carry liability insurance?
- Yes — we carry liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance directly to your venue upon request, which most venues require regardless of which vendor you're booking.
